K-Quick Cuts was created in honor of Dr. Austin’s younger brother and inspired by a commitment to creating positive pathways for young men navigating challenging experiences. Rooted in brotherhood, mentorship, and skill development, the program provides students with opportunities to explore barbering while creating space for healing, confidence, and career discovery.
Through a consortium model, middle and high school students from multiple schools participate in barbering workshops that build skills, strengthen relationships, and introduce barbering as a potential career pathway.
